Currently Loving May 2026 Part 1

It has been up and down weather in NYC this month, but so much to love and (also look forward to). Here is what I am currently loving:

1. Noah Kahan “All Them Horses”

I love Noah Kahan. Deep love. And I love his new album — especially this song. I have listened to it over and over again recently and every time, I love it more. Highly recommend.

2. Lilacs

Is there anything more nostalgic than smelling lilacs? My mom is highly allergic to lilacs, and yet growing up, we had a lilac tree upfront, and it was her favorite flower. So every time I see lilacs, I smell them, and remember how much I love my mama. I love you, Mama!

3. Mother’s Day Card

Mother’s Day is this weekend and I am fortunate to have the best mama in the world. And I loved this card so much.

4. Being a Mother

Of course, being a mother is the best gift I have ever been given. And my kids are everything. Nothing brings me more happiness than being with my kids — and so FaceTime with them is a second close.

5. Frida Kahlo at the MoMA

Frida Kahlo at MoMA. Go see it! I loved it. Such vibrant colors and images.

6. Simple Flower Arragenements

This simple arrangement at Fleming brings such joy. It is jus two flowers — and it looks so perfect.

7. Tulips

I know — so much flower talk — but aren’t we so lucky with all the flowers this month. This flower garden in Central Park is a hidden gem and I love it.

8. Caffe Panna

Best ice cream in NYC. Hands down.

9. In Love by Amy Bloom

More flowers — but this time a book with the author about a flower 😉 I LOVED this book. So sad, so depressing, but so beautifully written. A must read — it will fly by.

What are you loving this month? I love how it is almost Spring, the sunshine, the later nights, the big moon, fresh air.

Currently Loving March 2026 Part 2

Yes, on the last day of March, here is what I am currently loving.

1. Bon Iver’s Day One

Literally, can’t get enough of this song (or this video) and have listened to it maybe 100 times in the past week. I love it so much — and no, it’s not new, I just recently discovered this song and can’t get enough.

Currently Loving February 2026 Part 2

Almost the end of February, and WOW has it been a cold and dreary month in NYC. But….hopefully the Spring will be here sooner rather than later. In the meantime, here is what I am loving.

1. Central Park in Snow

Central Park post blizzard was beyond beautiful. So much snow, so much beauty. I went on a long walk and asked tourists if they wanted me to take their photo — it was so rewarding because everyone was so shocked that I offered, and they always loved the photos I took. Here is one someone took in return. Me and my fun dog (dogs are NOT fun in a blizzard).

Currently Loving February 2026

We made it through January!!!! And now it is February and it is light out past 5 pm — makes the world of difference! Here is what I am currently loving this month.

1. Central Park in the Snow

Balmy day in the park — 21 degrees! The reservoir is frozen. The city isn’t pretty with the snow residue, but Central Park is.

2. Waterfall in Central Park

Waterfall in Manhattan! Yes! I love it — it is so beautiful and a secret little hideaway.

3. Cashmere Scarf

I got this scarf on Sunday and have worn it every day since then. I love it. Even with my sweatpants.

4.  Cuddling

Truth is — nothing is better than cuddling and getting warm with your loved ones. Cuddling on the couch with my girls — and lots of layers and blankets. Truly, the best.

5. Funny signs

AHHHHH NYC, you make me laugh. So funny.

6. Cute signs

Yup, don’t micro dose on love.

7. Trader Joe’s Coconut Crunchy Clusters

These. Nothing better. I got them for the first time and they were all gone that afternoon. Need to go back to Trader Joe’s to stock up on them!

8. Espresso Martinis

I now I am very, very late to the game, but I just tried my first espresso martini, and now I can’t go back to NOT having them. They are THE BEST.

9. White Bean Chicken Soup

The best white bean chicken soup — had it for every meal for a week straight, and still dreaming of making more.

10. Flower Arrangements

My flower arrangements. I loved this one. Nothing makes me happier than going to the Flower District AND / OR Trader Joe’s and getting flowers to arrange. This one was particularly beautiful in my opinion. 🙂

There you have it! What I am loving in this very cold, very winter-y, very short month. What are you loving this month?

Currently Loving January 2026

It’s been a minute. But here I am. Happy New Year!!! Here is what I am loving in this new month and NEW Year! And back to regular programming this week — swear! On top of traveling, family, holidays, I had writer’s block too, and couldn’t think of anything that made sense to post. But don’t you worry, I have lots of unimportant things to share with you in the next couple of weeks! In the meantime, here is what I am loving now!

1. Golden Hof Pancakes

Golden Diner is a hot asian-fusion spot downtown that is impossible to get reservations and hours to wait in line. They recently opened up a sister restaurant in midtown, and you can get a reservation ANY TIME and they have all the same food. Different vibe, but so delicious. And these pancakes were 10 out of 10.

Currently Loving December 2025 Part 1

And just like that….here we are in December! I can NOT believe how this year flew by. Here is what I am loving:

1. Ruth Asawa at the MoMA

At the MoMA until February 7th — must go and see! Over 300 pieces of work — and each one so intricate and beautiful. As someone who weaves baskets, it made it even more incredible — they are BEYOND beautiful and take so much patience and skill. A must visit.

Currently Loving October 2025

There is so much to love right now — and this is what I am loving!

1. Picnics in October

This past weekend felt like summer in the city. 80 degrees in October! I absolutely loved every minute. Toosh and I had a picnic and she did homework and I needlepointed. Loved it.

Sorry for my absence last week — back in New York, back to school (for both me and the kids!), back to figuring out the schedule and the flow. And hardest part — back to waking up so early! but now, I AM BAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKKKK. Here is what I am currently loving this month.

1. US Open

Yes, the US Open just ended yesterday, but it is my favorite two weeks in the city. And my favorite night is always with my favorite lady, Mrs. Mason. This night is hands down, so fun, and now I get to enjoy it with Tusia who LOVES Mrs. Mason, and LOVES tennis.

Currently Loving June 2025

BLINK and here we are in June. In disbelief at how time flies, floats, and passes. So here is what I am loving right now.

1. My Boy Home

My boy is back from boarding school and I couldn’t be happier to have him home. And with me. And in my arms. He had the best year and I am forever grateful for this experience at his new school, but man, I have missed him. And so happy to be reunited.

Currently Loving March 2025

Week n umber 5 million of Spring Break….and here is what I am loving.

1. Survivor Season 48

Granted, I am a huge Survivor fan, but there is something about this season (season 48) that is so good. I love it so much and HIGHLY recommend it — great for families or solo, but it never disappoints. And Jeff Probst — you are the best host ever.

Currently Loving February 2025

February has been an insanely busy month. On top of the normal parts of life, I have also traveled to California, Montana, and Florida. Yes, lots of times on planes, but of course, all worth it. Here is what I have loved this month.

1. Family Time

We went to California to present with my uncle his story on the Holocaust to the Thacher School. It was an incredible assembly and experience, and I was so happy to have been a part of this special event. And yes, Cruzzie’s jeans are gigantic.

2. Erewhon Hailey Bieber Shake

While we were in CA, we stopped in at Erewhon, which is the most incredible health food store I have ever been to. Had I not had a carry on, I would have bought everything to bring back to NYC. In particular, this smoothie was delicious. Worth the hype.

3. The Getty

Despite rainy and cold weather, we went to The Getty to kill time before our red eye that night. We loved looking at the views, the art collection, and just being there. Highly recommend. And did you know it was free?

4. Governors Island

In between all the travel, the family went to Governor’s Island to see the Ice Sculpture competition. Although it was fun to see the ice sculpture, it was even more fun just to walk around the island, even in the cold weather.

5. Bedazzling

Bedazzling!!! The new fun hobby! It takes a lot of patience and time — you have to glue every single one of the pieces of glitter (!), but look how fun and cool my AirPods look. Thank you, Tusia!

6. Blockus

This has always been one of my favorite board games — but I always seem to lose the pieces (not good!). We just bought a new set, so here we are playing it. Love this game!

7. The Motherload

I devoured this book in two days (which says a lot because these days I am a very bad reader). Dark, raw, vulnerable — loved this book.

What are you loving this month? Do share! I hope you have a great week.

Currently Loving November 2024

This morning when I was walking the dog, I was in disbelief that there were Christmas lights on so many of the stores along Madison Avenue….but then I realized, we are 2/3 done with November and it is almost December….how did this happen? In any case, Christmas light season here we are. And here is what I am currently loving.

1. Bonbon Candies

When I went to visit Cruzzie, I thought it would be nice to bring him and his friends something from NYC to CA. It had to be compact, easy to travel with, and something everything would like — which turns out to be candy. Bonbon candy. It was a huge hit and worth lugging it across the country.

Currently Loving October 2024

WELP, October here we are! (or actually mid October!) It has been a whirlwind month of the Chicago Marathon and then visiting weekend at my son’s boarding school. Maybe life will slow down now??? Or not…but in the meantime, here is what I am currently loving!

1. Cruzzie’s Dining Hall

Cruzzie’s school, The Thacher School, is located in Ojai, California. It is the dreamiest place I have ever been — not just the academics, people, community, program, ethics, but also just the pure beauty of the school. Here is the dining hall at dinner. LOOK AT THAT SUNSET. You can eat outside. IT IS INCREDIBLE.

Currently Loving September 2024

WHOA here we are. September. Kids are finally in school (I miss them) and it feels like we never had a break. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. Here are random things that I am loving!

1. Hazelnuts

I ate these in one sitting. I love hazelnuts (they are grown everywhere in Oregon) and this combination of sweet and salty are to die for. I bought these to bring back to NYC but then ate them that same day. Oops.

Fall is around the corner, but still trying to soak up every inch of sunshine and moment of summer. Here is what I am currently loving Part DEUX of August 2024. And please share with me what you are loving too — I always love hearing what people are loving at the moment.

1. Tru Fru

HOLY CRAP THESE ARE ADDICTING. The best little bit of sweetness and dessert. We love them in both dark and milk chocolate — but especially the milk chocolate raspberries. You must get. To die for. Frozen raspberries coated in white chocolate and then milk.

2. Rafting
