I promise you soon that I will get back to normal posts versus currently loving, but I just have so much to share and it is easy to cram everything in and be a GOOD post, versus a short mediocre one 😉 So here is what I am currently loving in July — because wow, it is mid-July (I actually saw a sign that said a festival for June 2026 and I had to think if it was an old sign or we were still in June and it was upcoming….helllooooo summer)

Hands down my favorite new sunscreen. If you are in Europe, buy a lot and you will be happy. I read about it — and WOW is it good. Better than any other sunscreen I have ever tried.
2. Whistler BookÂ

Great book. Easy to read, flowed nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
3. Boogie boarding at sunsetÂ

In Cap Ferret, one of the highlights was walking to the beach from the house to see the sunset every night, and then having the kids go boogie boarding. Core memory — for them and for me, too. Top most beautiful places I have ever been to before.

I ended up buying four of these shirts in the market. I loved them so much.
5. Cap Ferret

Cap ferret. Period. Everything about it. If you know about it, you agree. And if you don’t know about it, know you do.
6. Sunrise hike

Back from Europe to the west coast means VERY VERY early mornings — so why not combine it with one of the things I love most — sunrise hikes. Love love every direction you turn and look.

The iconic Hayward field. I feel so lucky to be able to run on the track (next door track — practice track) whenever I want. But even looking at this beauty is one of my favorite things to see.
8. Blackberry Galette

Picked blackberries at the farm, and then made a galette. Berry delicious.
9. Mt Pisgah

Swing hill hike at Mt. Pisgah — easy but fun and beautiful and then you get to swing.
10. Burrito Boy

Burrito boy — classic Eugene staple. And eating it while watching the World Cup — even better.
