Holy shmollllly it is almost August! I feel like it was just February. But nope. End of July here we are! Here is what I am currently loving, enjoy!
1. Exile by Taylor Swift and Bon Iver
Bon Iver has been one of my favorite singer song writer for quite some time — I love absolutely everything he does — whether it is his own music or songs he produces, writes, or is featured in. And this song is exactly that — so good, beautiful, touching, melodic, and I LOVE IT.
Here we are, mid May. I get more confused with what month than what day it is. Can it really be MAY? LIKE SCHOOL IS ALMOST OVER? Then what? What happens next??? Well, for now, here is what I am currently loving this month! Enjoy!
1. Warm Romper
Acid wash, pink, comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a range of temperatures. I love my new romper. I think it is perfect for a beach cover up, or a golf excursion!
I am very thankful that my family and I have good health, the ability to afford food, internet, a roof over our heads, and options. And yet, our life is not perfectly pink rosy. Natori, like other fashion brands and retail companies, is hurting in our economic climate. There are a lot of unknowns SOOOOO, to keep me sane during these less than perfect times (for all of us), here are my necessities (obviously in addition to the connection to my friends and family, which is #1).
There are certain things that bring me joy: my loved ones, running, fresh flowers, a fire, and rollerskating. Every time I put on my skates, I smile. I love to dance, skate, glide. We rollerskate as a family, or I do it alone (and take zoom classes from my teacher). It is a time of complete happiness and joy.
Another month is almost over….slow down, time, SLOW DOWN! It is now Spring Break for us, which means, the end of the school year is around the corner and HELLO SUMMER. Until then, here is what I am currently loving this month! Take a look, here is March 2019.
1. Evil Genius
4 episode TV series on Netflix
An easy series to watch in a weekend about a crazy lady and murders and crimes. Dark but not too scary as it is narrated in a witty and upbeat way. And you can’t stop watching because you want to know all the weird things that happen.
Well, geez, February went by in a FLASH! I feel like it just started and now it is days away from being March…..Here is what I am currently loving this month.
1. Any podcast with Alex Honnold
Alex, you are a dare-devil, but I admire your strength (both mental and physical) and commitment and devotion to making the impossible possible. Lance — not a fan, but you gave a good interview.
August feels like one big Sunday to me — I love it, and yet I also dread the reality that real life is around the corner. Even though I try to take one day at a time and live in the moment, I suffer from worrying about what is going to happen in 2-3 weeks time…..I know, great habit of mine. I am trying to make more of an effort in enjoying all the little things around me; weather, nature, freedom, space, and all the below. Enjoy!
I can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by. I am not sure if it is age, but time moves more quickly than 60 minutes per hour….and so here we are in MARCH and Spring Break is right around the corner (#GodBless). Here is a simple and easy list of what I am currently loving.
1. Jonas Blue’s Remix of Fast Car
My kids are so sick of me listening to this song because I play it for them at least two dozen times a day. NOT KIDDING. I also have randomly sent out the link to friends telling them to listen to it. I can’t get enough of the beat, the song, the nostalgia of Tracy Chapman.
Of the 2 million views, I think I have listened to it over 500,000 times. NO JOKE. Last week, I ran 6 miles with this song on repeat. (#OCD)
Can you believe we are full swing into November? I can’t. It feels like it was just Labor Day and ZOOOOOOM here we are to (gasp) Holiday season. In the past month, I have fallen in love with the following things:
