It sure feels like Fall in New York! Chilly, brisk, windy — aka no longer summer. I always think of the “You’ve Got Mail” quote “Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.” There is something fairy-tale like about NYC in the fall…so here is what I am currently loving September 2020.
Doesn’t your heart hurt with the news of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing this past Friday night? What a legend, a role model, an inspiration, truly a super hero. I can’t stop reading all her quotes and feel sickened and sad by America’s loss. If you haven’t watched the documentary, RBG, available on Hulu, now is the time to do.
Hand’s down my favorite baked good in all of NYC is Ralph’s chocolate chip cookie. It is sweet, rich, gooey, salty, and ever so perfect. First place I went to as soon as I returned to the city, was to go to Ralph’s. It is also so very chic and glamorous and by far my favorite place for a cup of tea or coffee. I love it outside (because of NYC’s outside dining only right now) as well as inside when it is allowed. A must visit, a must eat, a must.
Silky, creamy, everyday balm that makes my lips feel moisturized and hydrated. Nothing fancy, all organic, and super smooth.
YUP, we are cliche COVID and got a peloton and a puppy all in the same week! I officially quit Equinox, and plan to use the peloton on my days off from running. So tell me — who are your favorite instructors and classes? Would love all the advice as I am late to the game with this!
Although I am a tequila girl, nothing beats a lychee martini from Nobu. And the best thing to come out of COVID in NYC is take away cocktails……call them up at 4 pm and get one! SO GOOD!
So that’s what I am currently loving this month. And the fact that my kids are in person school (thank you!!! oh so grateful!!!), that the weather has been sunny, and that we are all healthy. Please share with me what you are loving — I love hearing!
