Currently Loving April 2020

So sorry for the lack of posts this past week — there was a technical issue that came up (I found out that the subscription of the posts were no longer being sent out — so I had to deal with that, and as you can imagine, it was a slow process to get this fixed!) but here we are now! Back at it again! PHEW, after being in Florida for 5 weeks, NYC for a handful of days, we are now in Westchester where we will be for the next several weeks…..it’s been hard. Days are super long and repetitive. For all of us. But here is what I am currently loving.

1. The Last Dance

10 part documentary series on Michael Jordan and the Bulls Dynasty. Even though I am not a fan of basketball, I have been thoroughly enjoying this series.

2. What It Takes by Sufjan Stevens

Can’t get enough of this song on the newest Sufjan Stevens album. Very meditative and moving. New agey, electronic, and rhythmic.

3. Air Jordans

I think it is because of my new obsession with MJ that I now want Air Jordans. And I am eye-ing these. Cute for spring (if the weather ever improves!).

4. Gjelina Warm Date Cake

Since I am unsure if anyone saw this post (when I realized that the emails were not getting sent out), I am reposting it because it is THAT good. I promise you.

5. Untamed by Glennon Doyle

I finished this book while in Florida, and I keep thinking backĀ  to it. Thoroughly enjoyed this read and all its takeaways. A must read. ALSO — if you loved the book, she is featured on Dax Shepard’s podcast and it is a must listen, too, as well!

What else? I am currently enjoying hill running (mainly because I hate it SO much but have no other alternative here) as I know it will make me stronger. I am also currently loving chocolate chips (but can’t find them anywhere as they are sold out!) and the good ol CBS Survivor, Casa Dragones Tequila, and my Natori pajamas — but those are all OBVIOUS. Hope you are all doing well. xoxo
