Per request, here are photos of my son’s 5th birthday party! (JK no one asked to see them, so thank you for letting me share them with you!) My son, who turns 5 in nine days (who is counting?) celebrated his birthday with friends from school this past weekend up in Pound Ridge. Dedicated to sharks and the ocean (perhaps he will take after my brother), the party was shark centric. Here are the pictures!
Eeks, there is a shark in the grass!
Pre-party. With orange balloons.
Orange is Cruzzie’s favorite color.
Dorsal fin cupcakes.
Shark cake
Great white cookies

Could not get ANY BETTER weather for a party. Crisp, fall, but hot (82 degrees). Hallelujah!
Wating….and waiting….for friends to come!
Five years old
YUP. This is the bouncy castle.
Check it OUT!
The hors d’ouevres. The food was so beyond delicious and a perfect blend of kids and adults sandwiches and salads. And of course, I was too busy and preoccupied to take too many pictures….but believe me, it was delicious.
Colorful food
A magician performed for an hour. The kids were fully captivated, which was great for all of the adults. No wiggling or moving around. Just pure laughing and enjoyment. Success!
Cruzzie had a blast!
Baaaahhhaaaaa
One person didn’t want to sit with everyone else.
Little sister was a tad bit shy and needed some space.

Aftermath. Ken asleep, Cruzzie watching TV, and Toosh making a mess.
No more bouncy castle.
Don’t do this at home (bad for environment and animals), but we released a couple balloons into the sky. It was so pretty.
The end.
Thanks for letting me share these photos! Have a terrific week!
