BOOYAH Spring Break is here! Although less exciting now (since I just tutor and am not a practicing teacher), it still means I get a little vacation and time away from NYC. Here is a list of items that I am currently loving (similar to earlier this year).
Top of my list for current up-and-coming designers is Ulla Johnson from Brooklyn, NYC. Everything she makes, I want. Please, everything she does, I want to do. She is hip, beautiful, (I have never met her) and creates the most gorgeous, feminine, unique pieces. And these harem pants are at the top of my list — how can you go wrong with harem PLUS floral?
I KNOW, polar opposite from my granola and organic roots of Eugene, but I can’t help myself. I LOVE The Cheesecake Factory! We are fortunate enough to be able to escape to the Natori seniors condo in Palm Beach when they’re not there (Spring Break!). And we go to The Cheesecake Factory in City Place every time we come.
Does the fact that I crave walking shoes mean I’m not young and cool? If so, be it! These nikes look good with running clothes OR jeans. Bring it! Obsessed.
I no longer have a need for a mobile in a nursery (4 year old and 22 month old make me plenty happy), but if I did, this would be on my buy list. It is handmade by Tamar Mogendorff, original, fun, unisex, and oh-so-cool. I kinda want it for my own room….
Old school! Old school frame with insta-print! Say goodbye to instagram and hello to instax. I am drooling over this camera and feel like I need it in my life (wish list).
A must visit store in NYC, located in Soho and UWS. This store carries carefully edited selection of dishes, glassware and accessories from around the world with an emphasis on simple lines and vivid finishes. You can spend hours inside browsing the collection. It is a perfect place to pile up on presents. You can shop online, too!
So there you have it, my list of current loves! As Spring closely approaches, what are you loving? Do tell. And have a great week! SPRING BREAK 2014!!!!!!!
love Global Table!
The Cheesecake Factory is kind of nasty. But they do have good cheesecake!
I’m traveling all around Europe this summer for 6 six… amazing!!
I’m a student at NYU.. going back to Japan to visit my family and start a new internship. So excited!
Can’t wait for the warm Spring weather and all the beautiful flowers!
Nike Sneakers are the best and super comfortable, they never go out of style.
