The best reason to skip breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday is to save space to party at the Brooklyn Flea’s giant all-food market, Smorgasburg. Set at the East River State Park in Williamsburg or in the old tobacco warehouse under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo, it is a full-on adventure in deliciousness.
No — not that kind of hash
Hash and eggs.
Fried Anchovies, Jersey style. WHAT WHAT????
Butter & Scotch Bakery:
S’mores Pie. Absolute perfection.
S’mores. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? You choose the flavor of marshmallow, graham cracker, and any special flavors and then they torch them while you wait.
Pipcorn is mini-popcorn! Half the size of normal kernels. And there are so many flavors to choose from, such as sea salt, kettle, lemon truffle, lemon pesto, lemon kettle, and rosemary!
Milk Truck Grilled Cheese:
Grilled cheese scores a big 10. The “Milk Truck Classic” is made with aged Wisconsin Gruyere, Cultured butter on Balthazar Levain Pullman Bread with the option of adding caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms and bacon. SAY WHAT?
Pigs in a blanket. Either original (pork), spicy, or chicken.
My heaven with so many different flavors and options: Red Velvet, Chocolate Caramel, Maple Pecan Pie, Chocolate dipped, and many more.
Tasty tamales and tacos! OLE!
