Here we are in October! Fall in New York….here is what I am currently loving (and please send me what you are loving, too! I love to hear!)
1. Flash Flowers by Lewis Miller Design
Walking home from drop off yesterday and I saw this beautiful flower flash installation by Lewis Miller Design — always so beautiful.
2. Chicago Marathon 2022
I participated in the Chicago Marathon over the weekend and had a grand old time. My best running time, and a great weekend overall.
3. Epicerie Bouloud Ham and Cheese
My favorite ham and cheese sandwich is from Epicerie Bouloud on the Upper West Side. It is just the right size (not too small) and covered in butter and cheese. BEST MEAL EVER.
4. Funny Signs
Saw this on the uber back from one of my runs pre marathon (yes, when I am done with my mileage, I take an uber or taxi home). Made me laugh out loud.
Broth. Before the marathon, I had a cold that wouldn’t go away, so not only was I drinking as many liquids as I could, but I was “eating” broth. Made me feel warm and fuzzy.
6. Beautiful murals
New mural next to the UN building. I always love to see what beautiful art the city creates.
7. Carriage Rides in Central Park
Carriage ride in NYC — super touristy, but we loved it nonetheless. Great views and actually learned new facts about our own city.
8. Only Murders in the Building
I am currently on the second season of this show and love Martin Short and Steve Martin. Cute and funny — nothing too serious or deep.
