Local Lavender

Over the weekend, we went to a Lavender Festival along the McKenzie River. It was a small but wonderful community event that brought people together to enjoy the beauty of lavender, u-pick, food, music, and option to buy local lavender products.

Lavender bushes everywhere. So beautiful. So many bees, but so beautiful.

They had all different varieties of lavender — all slightly different colors and scents.

They ALL smelled divine.

We really enjoyed the U-Pick option. We picked so much and it was so cheap. God bless, Oregon. But also, they were giving half off to u-pick to anyone who had been vaccinated. I loved this little touch!

I could have picked triple the amount.

This bundle was $3.50!!!!

Some of my favorite products that we purchased.

All locally made and all from local lavender.

I can’t wait to try this!

All this to say, I love small local community gatherings, love supporting local businesses, and love being outside in nature! I hope to find, support, attend, and enjoy more of these in the upcoming future! I hope you have a great week — and if anyone has ideas on what to do with my pound plus of lavender, send them my way!
