Readers of the blog know that I love gourmet grocery stores. It so happens that I go to the grocery most days while in Eugene. The local grocery store is my dream come true and I could literally spend hours patrolling the aisles to see what’s new and what they have to offer. Last week while jetlagged and bleary from our France travels, I went searching for good, high-protein snacks. I have always liked beef jerky, but never loved it. So when I found these three different brands of turkey sticks, I knew it was going to be a good snack summer. These three are my top favorite and I hope they have them in the NYC stores (and if not, thank you world wide web, not sure I know what to do without you!)…..

Top 3
My top 3 turkey sticks are: Field trip Cracked Pepper, The New Primal Cilantro Lime, and Country Archer Rosemary.

Field Trip Cracked Pepper….I like this one: a little spicy, a lot of flavor. Only drawback is that you need to brush your teeth afterwards….but filling, satisfying, and delicious.

The New Primal Cilantro Lime: I love a tangy meat flavor and this one is great without being too artificial. And of course the meat is natural, gluten free, paleo, and healthy.

This one, Country Archer Rosemary, is my all time favorite and I could eat this all day, everyday.

Great for hikes (which we do a lot of), or just putting in my purse so I don’t get hangry (which happens a lot).
I hope you have a great week! And I am officially back to my three times a week posting! Happy Monday!
Market of Choice? Whole Foods? Capella?
Love this, I’ve been looking for tasty turkey jerky for my kids, been limited to Vermont brand that Target carries.
