Nike Cropped Sweatshirt

Since I spend 40% of the time in workout gear (the other 40% is equally divided by Natori pajamas and day clothes i.e.jumpsuits and rompers), I was ecstatic to find a new silhouette of a sweatshirt — cropped and boxy. It is Nike and comes in multiple colors, and as soon as I saw it, I knew that I needed two immediately.

Cropped. Boxy. Petite. SWOOSH.

Gucci Inspired Sweatshirt

Constantly researching fashion blogs, articles, magazines, instagram, and people, I have admired the recent resurgence and hipness of Gucci. So many beautiful, glamorous, and whimsical pieces of late, each one cool and hip in their own way. That said, the BLING BLING price tags have prevented me from buying anything. I love the Gucci’s bombers and sweatshirts, and yet haven’t pulled the trigger due to price. So when I came across a Gucci *inspired* sweatshirt at H&M, it was BLING BLING a true winner. 39.99 dollars. YES PLEASE, thank you, SUCKER.

Preppy and fun.

Maison Labiche Sweatshirts

I am a huge fan of sweatshirts. If I could, I would wear them every day. And now I have found yet ANOTHER line of sweatshirts that I am royally obsessed with. And of course, it is French (bien sur), which makes it even cooler and better! In my mind, French = fancy, so I can wear these out to a dinner party, or even a gala, and be well dressed (in my dreams). Maison Labiche, everyone!

Upstate Sweatshirt

I love tie-dye. Tie-dye is TO-DIE for. Especially when it is on a hoodie sweatshirt. I mean, can you get a better combination than that???? That combo is like peanut butter and jelly. Or cookies and milk. Or toast and butter. It just makes perfect sense and goes together hand in hand. So, thank you Upstate for making the most amazing and awesome sweatshirts. It is my dream come true!

Upstate is a Brooklyn based company that designs (and hand dyes) garments with a technique known as shibori. Shibori is an ancient Japanese tradition of dyeing cloth using several different methods of binding, folding, or compressing the fabric. The look creates an artsy array of patterns and textures.
