Always reading (skimming) the news, I came across an article in the New York Times on an Alabama *organic* sock company run by a 36 year old. Intrigued and inspired, I ordered four pairs of socks from Zkano…..and now they are the ONLY socks I wear.
From the Times: “Going organic (the cotton comes from a farm in Lubbock, Tex., the dyes from North Carolina) has given Gina a marketing niche. Her socks appeal to millennials, who study labels and like a compelling origin story.” And yes, apparently I am a millennial, because I too, was hooked based on the organic aspect and interesting story!
The socks come in a bzillion categories: ankle, slouch, crew, knee high, over knee, basic and sport — for women, men, and kids. I am a big fan of ankle socks and stripes, so the combination of ankle striped socks were my go-to-pick. And I couldn’t be happier.
These socks are high quality, comfortable, organic and also support US manufacturing!
These socks will make you happy. Like good undies, the difference of high quality, comfortable, and cute makes ALL the difference. Hope you have a great week.
Those are either bell bottom pants, or you have size 1 feet.
Hilarious. They are wide legged overalls.
LOVE that they originate in the South. I’m in need some new socks. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hope you like them! They are sturdy and great looking socks.
Really cute colors! I’ll definitely be buying a pair of these. I’m all for products made in the USA!
