New nut butter obsession, thank you very much! Big Spoon Roasters is so good that you want to use a big spoon (get it?) and eat it all up. Big Spoon Roasters makes handcrafted nut butters from scratch in Durham, North Carolina. If anyone knows how to work with nuts, it is Southerners. They create the nut butters from nuts and honeys from local and like-minded farmers.
Each batch is made in small quantities where the nuts are roasted, milled, and packaged while still warm to produce nut butters that are uniquely fresh and delicious.
All of the nut butters also contain freshly harvested wildflower honey. This addition not only enhances flavor, but also serves as a natural preservative that prevents staling and spoilage. No need to refrigerate (space saver!).
There are a variety of flavors from different types of nuts: almonds, peanuts, and cashews. To see the options, go here. To buy, go here! I can’t wait to try them all…..Have a good week!
These look delicious. Not refrigerated and no preservatives? a little skeptical, but the nut butters look delicious,
Don’t be skeptical — it is better to have no preservatives.
