Paper Flowers

I do not have a green thumb. Actually quite the opposite, as every plant I ever get dies within a month or two. I love orchids, but I always gets sad when they wilt away, become flowerless, and end up turning into a big, depressing, bleak twig. So I was terribly happy (is that an oxymoron?) when I found handmade paper flowers from The Green Vase, when wandering around one of my favorite stores: John Derian. green vaseThe paper flowers are the perfect blend of color, aliveness, nature, and happiness. Although not real, they are far from run-of-the mill artificial plastic flowers, and give a sense of daintiness and lightness to a room. And most importantly, you don’t have to worry about watering them (or killing them).

So many pretty flowers to choose from.

To purchase the flowers, go here. They are a great alternative to a live plant and add life and energy to any room. I hope everyone has a great week — Fall is here!
