One of the difficulties of having two kids in two different schools (in two different states!), means that they have different spring breaks. Our son, Cruz, had the first two weeks of March off, and my daughter, Tusia, has the last two weeks of March off. FUN FUN FUN! So for Cruzzie’s second week, I went with my friend Catherine, her son, and another one of their friends to Crans-Montana and Paris. Crans- Montana — NEVER HEARD OF IT BEFORE — but you should keep on your radar, because it is such an incredible place.

Crans-Montana is a ski town in Switzerland. It is a 90 minute drive from Geneva, and super easy to get in and out of. And don’t you love meat, cheese, and pickles?

A cute town with bakeries, stores, anything and everything that you need.

Beautiful sunset.

Carbs galore, yes please.

The ski mountain was unbelievable — and I of course loved the PRADA poles everywhERe.

Skiing was super fun.

The two moms and the three boys.

We stayed in a three bedroom hotel room which had the most amazing spa downstairs with sauna / steam / hot tub / pool — the perfect place to unwind after skiing all day.

Who doesn’t love pie? Especially Swiss pies!

The lunches were always fun — one day it was so cold, but we were seated outside, that we kept our gloves and helmets on.

Nighttimes were low key.

A lunch spot.

Kid food, with a view.

We were supposed to paraglide, but due to bad weather, it was canceled. But look at this gorgeous picture nonetheless (we can pretend it was one of us up there in the parachute).

Me and my boy.

Strawberries, nutella, tiktok post skiing.

Then we took the TGV train to Paris — super easy and smooth — best way to travel.

Card games.

Me and the boys.
Highly suggest planning a ski vacation to Crans-Montana! And taking a train in Europe! And eating the delicious strawberries!
