I copied a dear friend who makes biscuits for her dog — and now you should do the same! They were a fun (and easy) activity — and healthy and delicious for the dog! They are vegetarian (not vegan as they contain milk) and not gluten free because they have flour! But come on, still good and yummy for the dogs!
End result! Don’t YOU want to make these for your dogs???
Ingredients:
Spoiled dog.

* 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
Directions:
* Preheat the oven to 325 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
* Then, mix the dry ingredients together
Dry ingredients.
Then, add the peanut butter.
Then mix it all together, and add the water. If too dry, add more water so that it gets to be a ball of dough.
Ball of dough!
At this point, we drove to True Value to get cookie cutters (because we HAD to have a dog bone cutter!!!) And yes, Stevie is very spoiled and this is the way she travels in the car (not very safe, yes, I know).
Roll out the dough and make the shapes. How cute are they?
Egg wash.
Lucky dog.
Sprinkled with oatmeal for some extra OOMPH
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown.
Feeding them to her. A hit!
Thank you, Meghan for sharing your recipe with me!!!! Hope everyone is enjoying August, gulp.
