Currently Loving January 2022

I know that the month has just begun (Omicron — go away already! Winter — go away, too!), but here is what I am currently loving!

1. The Sex Lives of College Girls

Hands down the most LOL show I have seen in a long time. It is so right on about liberal art colleges and I love the characters so much. A must watch! I am just sad I have no more episodes to watch — it is binge worthy (25 minutes each episode) and so fun, funny, and smart.

2. The Alpinist

Loved this movie that I watched with the kids. Highly recommend.

3. Crying in H Mart

I know I have mentioned this book before, but it is so good that it is worth mentioning AGAIN. By far my favorite book of 2021. Cried multiple times (I like books that make you cry).

4. Tele-health Vet appointments

How 2022 (slash 2021 slash 2020) is this? A telehealth zoom call for the vet???? Ir worked! I just needed antibiotics for Stevie and it was easy breezy and highly effective. Good use of time!

5. Pretty Light Fixture (And Beautiful Apartment)

A friend is an architect and designed the most spectacular home in the West Village, as featured in Architectural Digest this month (in link above). It is all beyond gorgeous, but my favorite part is this light fixture! A bronze tree! I am dreaming of it — so whimsical and original.

6. Bee Studs

My daughter loves little studs for her ears and I came across these and instantly had to purchase them! Inexpensive and good for sensitive ears. How cute are these bees?

7. Baked Sweet Potato

In my newest cookbook (Jessica Seinfeld’s “Vegan at Times), she claims it is important to have a baked sweet potato in the fridge to have on hand. I love this idea and can’t wait to use them for everything and anything (stay tuned for a future post!)

So that is what I am loving right now! Other than negative antigen tests, long hot baths, nights of light homework load, and the sunshine (what’s that!). Do share with me!
