Josie Natori presented her Fall 2016 Ready-To-Wear Collection this past Wednesday at The Doubles Club (the club where Ken and I had our rehearsal dinner). As always, the presentation was beautifully and elegantly put together. Unlike previous shows or presentations, this was held more like a cocktail party than a typical show (bring on the champagne!).

Invitation.
The dominant theme of the collection was luxe layers and opulent jewel tones. As an ode to the artistry and craftsmanship of my mother-in-law’s native Philippines, there were a lot of rich textures and intricate embellishments, which is classic Natori. The pieces shown were a mixture of daytime and eveningwear (although heavy on the eveningwear), truly glamorous and utterly chic.

The presentation board of the 22 looks.

There were five stations of vignettes at Doubles, showcasing the looks. Not only were the pieces crazy beautiful, but the models were, too.

Closer look. Check out the gown and its embellishments, holy cow.

I know, same picture, but the model on the right is #GirlCrush and crushing the whole Josie Natori look, love it.

Jewel tones. The models are leaning on Natori home accents (such as the stools and the trays).

Super luxurious and rich. I love the lace, the color, the drama.

Black and blue (remember the white and gold dress mystery?). I love love love the ball gown with the lace and rich blue — yes, you have to have the perfect body and exude confidence and style.

And then the room stopped when Linda Fargo and her hottie mchottie boyfriend came. #HotDamn

I love this story; girls and their clothes, the animal benches, the colors.

The fourth group of women and their sophisticated and glamorous get-ups.
Prices range from $600 to over $6,000 for the special evening Looks (that is when the Natori family discount comes in handy). It is carried at Fine Department & Specialty stores in the US and abroad at stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Rustan’s (in the Philippines), and Tootsies in Texas, as well as the Josie Natori boutique on 253 Elizabeth Street in Manhattan.

Why yes, that is a disco ball hanging on the ceiling (not part of the fashion show — a permanent fixture at Doubles — but wouldn’t you have loved to have seen a disco party break out at the Show???)

At 6 on the dot, the models left their duties, just like Cinderella at the ball. #NoPumpkin

Crowd. Applause. Congratulations!
A huge congratulations to my fabulous mother-in-law, and her amazing team. I am forever impressed and in awe of all that she accomplishes and does. What a beautiful collection and presentation — thank you for allowing me to be a part of it all! I can’t wait to wear it all! To see more pictures, go here and here.
