Nothing better than celebrating the New Year with the Josie Natori Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2014 show! Fashion! Glamour! Beauty! Camera! Action! Inspired by the potent sophistication of 1930s Hollywood, the Josie Natori Spring/Summer 2014 collection captured the eternal style of this glamorous fashion moment, envisioning modern life through the enchantment of the silver screen.

Invitation.
Ensembles for the stage, red carpet, boudoir and cabana were the main focus of the collection. Bias-cut gowns, feathers, black and white geometric patterns, silks, satins and chiffons echoed the Va Va Voom of old time Hollywood. All the various outfits were beautifully put together — chic, easy, modern, and wearable. Once again, I was thoroughly impressed with my mother-in-law and her fabulous team. Bravo! Beautiful.

Fashionable Ken and plain Jane me.
“Hollywood’s iconic beauties and exotic rebels fueled my inspiration for this collection,” says Josie Natori. “Like the East, Hollywood evokes intrigue and imagination; it offers a rich palate of style from which a modern woman can curate her own starring role.” What a beautiful morning and an exceptional fashion show. Can’t wait to see the collection in stores this Spring!
P.S. Here are some reviews on the collection from WWD, style.com, and a video!
