Flap Jacked Muffins

For someone who likes to push myself physically, I often get lazy with cooking breakfast. I have normal routines of smoothies, yogurt and granola, but I always crave more protein and less carbs. So, when I found the perfect protein packed muffin, I was instantly sold. Tastes like pure carbs (my favorite), but packed with protein (it makes you JACKED — get the name) and probiotics. CHA-CHING.

These mighty muffins are really the perfect go-t0-breakfast for someone on the go. They are so easy to “make” as all you need to do is add water, stir, microwave for 35 seconds, and then VOILA… breakfast in a cup! Packed with protein, fiber, and probiotics!

They offer two different flavors: chocolate and apple cinnamon. Both are packed with 20 grams of protein (much more than my bowl of granola) and only 220 calories. They are filling, rich, delicious, and keep you full until lunch (which never happens when I eat my typical breakfast).

I am not giving up my normal breakfast, but I am adding this to my repertoire. Plus, it is great as back up when I don’t have time to blend the smoothie or grab almond milk with my cereal…it is just three simple steps, and then I can even walk out of the apartment with it in hand.   1. My husband would love these! He has gone so far as to bring the blender in the car with him to drink his protein shake when running late…. stopping by GNC on my break 🙂
