YUP, this happened.

Notice any similarities? I bought the same dress my daughter already owned.
I am officially that mom that buys the same dress as my daughter. Part of me is a little bit insecure / awkward about the fact that this just happened, but another part of me just wants to rejoice and celebrate this geekiness. So take a look at Mama / Girl matching outfits….

Lounging together.

Only difference: accessories. Me with the sunglasses, Toosh with the pink bow.

Oops, she wants her own sunglasses.

The pattern. (They also have it in off white and gold — Toosh has that dress, too. I do not….but I want it….but one matching dress is currently enough)

Yes, I look 12 years old. Yes, I look pregnant. No, I am *not* 12 years old, and no, I am *not* pregnant.

Looks better on her, but still rocking it out.

Chasing after geese.

Scaring them away.

Tada! Twinsies!
So yes, super geeky and nerdy of me, but I love the dress regardless. It somehow makes us even more connected. Plus, the dress is beyond comfortable and perfect for summer lounging. It is on sale at Bonpoint now (mom version, here. Daughter version, here). I plan on wearing it all summer, with or without my daughter wearing the same outfit.
Adorable!
Your son looks like he wants in on the action. So cute!
First of all, this dress is not geeky, it’s absolutely adorable! Second, I am OBSESSED with the fact that it comes in a mini me version!
Such a cute idea/dress
How adorable! Matching bow tie for your son? Too much?
Ah I think this is so so cute but I must admit I’m a little hesitant to do it myself! So far I’m on the matching PJ level only.
You guys look adorable…i say go for the gold one!….The dress looks comfy lite & Breezy….those oppressive 90+ degree days in the NYC this will feel good …if not — out to the country !
