As I mentioned on Monday, Ken and I spent the end of last week in Oslo, Norway for the wedding of two of our closest friends (the bride is a Norwegian ex-pat that lives in the States). Holy shmoly. Talk about a beautiful wedding and celebration in a beautiful country. Here are pictures of the trip. Enjoy!

One of the best parts about Oslo is that you are 15 minutes away from incredible nature. We went both hiking and mountain biking. Gorgeous nature.

Post-hike relaxing (with a beautiful spread and some rose to boot.) COLLEGEEEEE.

Biking (in a bird shirt — Eugene represent!)

More biking. Ken has a huge head = helmets look like yarmulkes = he takes off bike helmets in pictures. And my mouth was open, which means something was probably funny. Or not.

More gorgeous nature. Reminds me of Manhattan. Say, WHAT?

Made it back up the mountain!

Finished 🙂

Pretty

Downtown. Very modern, chic, Scandanavian feel. Everyone and everywhere was beautiful. It is the land of beautiful people.

Water. Fjord. Still not entirely sure what the exact definition of a fjord is, but it was fun to call everything a fjord. Fjord.

Random Norwegian in a suit looking hot and driving a boat. Love.

The wedding! Ken in his groomsman tux and me in my bridesmaid dress.

The beautiful couple! Don’t they look like a princess and a prince? So elegant and beautiful!

Locker wanting to hurry the pictures. But I love this picture.

Camilla and the bridesmaids.

Hey party people!

It is hard to stand next to Camilla because she is so flipping beautiful. Inside and outside. I swear she is the most gorgeous bride I have ever seen. Radiated happiness!

In Norway, if the groom goes to the bathroom during the reception, all the men are supposed to line up to kiss the bride. And vice versa. Best wedding tradition ever!
Congrats Camilla and Jon! It was amazing witnessing so much love and happiness this past weekend. Unforgettable, for sure! We had an awesome time and fell in love with Oslo… and Norwegians! We can’t wait to explore Oslo again. That said, I don’t need to drink rose or eat waffles or salmon this week. Detox time!
