Because my 5-week old baby girl has acid reflux and only wears Carter’s onesies, I currently know more about boy’s clothing than I do about girl’s clothes. Sure, I know the mainstream lines, but I don’t (yet) know about all the hidden gems of fun, hip, retro, and cool girl’s clothing lines. Until baby Zoe is ready for real clothes and I can do some exploring, here are my favorite obscure and original boy’s clothing lines.
Bobo Choses was founded by a team of Spanish girls. Their designs are simplistic, stylish, and made with natural materials.

WE WEAR SHORT SHORTS. So flippin' cute, comfortable, bright, cheery, and awesome.

Cruzzie rocking the yellow bike shorts. Currently, he will not let me dress him in long shorts and demands to be put in any type of these shorts.
Hand-made by one of my favorite ladies in the world, this line of clothing has a variety of items, including my favorite hooded sweatshirts. They are a great gift for anybody as you can never have too many hoodies in your closet. Or your son’s closet, too.

Love the hidden stripes in the hood. And the embroidered kite is the Frances Reid logo. Simple and different. Take that, Lacoste alligator!

My little surfer dude with the hoodie, cargo shorts, and hip sneakers. Is it possible to have a skater boy born in NYC?
Mini Rodini is an uber-cool line from Sweden. Funky, quirky and sleek. They are known for their graphic sweatshirts and funny prints on shirts, pants, and dresses.

Why hello bright alligator!

Why hello blue elephant!
Januzzi has all different types of clothing, but my favorite are the t-shirts with animals and modes of transportation. Great for every-day wear and involving kids in choosing their clothes in the morning (“No firetruck, no taxi, yes monkey!”)

Cruzzie wears this shirt probably 5 times a week. The shirt is made out of super soft organic cotton, with the design in a fuzzy fabric.

Yellow Taxi shirt with Red Polka dot Bobo Choses Short shorts. And a lollipop. Obvi.
By far, my favorite type of pajamas. The soft rib knit long johns are made without the use of toxic flame retardant chemicals and 100% GOTS certified organic Egyptian cotton. Comes in a variety of colors.

Great for girls and boys.

Not the best photo, but I tend to not take photographs right before bedtime.
Once again, a great company (from Brooklyn) that has an assortment of fun and different graphic tees. Of course, with lots of boats, trains and cars.

Boats are a favorite of Cruzzie's.

Rocking the boat shirt sans pants
My favorite mainstream lines include: Tea clothing, Crew Cuts, Gap Kids, Bon Point, and Hannah Anderson. All of these brands are reliable, good looking, and easy to purchase, too! Am I missing any unique and different boy’s lines? ALSO — I would love any tips on great girl’s clothing lines! Fill me in!
Have a great rest of the week. I am busy packing for Oregon, where we head on Saturday.
GREAT leads. Love this.
Thanks! Any suggestions for girls clothes?
Thanks for the shout out! you are the.sweetest. All love that cruzzie will only wear short shorts. Taking after his grandpa??
YEP Cruzzie is like Papa. And of course!! I also want to do an individual post on Frances Reid. I am obsessed with everything! Let’s talk and make it happen!
