OK so yes we made it to Paris and it was a big blur — lots of friends in town that made it so much fun as well as jam packed. There is so much to love here and I could post a million posts on what I love. So I am going to start with just a few right now from the first week and then come back with more! But here is what I am loving in Paris.
1. European Espresso

It tastes and hits differently in Europe. Love it so much.

This was an awesome art installation done by JR the artist on the oldest bridge in Paris. We loved checking out the outside AND walking through the inside (one way, so had to do it on another day because was on other side of bridge).
3. Calder at Louis Vuitton FoundationÂ

This exhibit at the Louis Vuitton Foundation is a must — the Calder exhibit. Four floors of absolutely stunning sculptures. I loved this one and want to make it this summer 🙂
4. SwingsÂ

Post museum, we went to Jardin D’Acclimitation because who doesn’t want to ride all the rides? Sadly, we only had 20 minutes until they closed (so had to go back another day). Forever young!
5. French Garbage

Made me laugh — saw on the corner. Only the French would make garbage chic.
6. Palais Garnier Main Hall

We had the opportunity to get a private tour of the Palais Garnier where the operas and ballets are held, and holy smokes, was it insanely gorgeous. It is a must visit.
7. Room in Palais Garnier

This room at the Palais Garnier deserves its own post. Breathtaking.
8. Cloud FormationsÂ

Why are clouds in Paris even better??? I love the cloud formations in the skies of Paris.
9. Renoir Exhibit at the Orsay

Renoir Exhibit at the Musee D’Orsay was a must see. VERY busy and on the small side — if you are in Paris this summer, you must get tickets way ahead of time because they sell out.
10. Ice Cubes in Rose

I mean it’s been so hot so having ice cubes in the rose makes everything better. I say YES.

So much more to report, but hope you enjoyed this little recap and more coming, stay tuned!
