Utah Getaway

Two weeks ago, I received a text from a friend that said — are you free in a week to join me at my new house. So of course, I couldn’t resist this opportunity to be with this dear friend and see a corner of the US that I find beyond beautiful — the border of Utah and Arizona.

You fly in to Arizona, but drive 20 minutes to Utah. It feels like the moon — such different landscapes and beyond beautiful. Photos do not do it justice.

We hiked, ran, ate, hiked, ran, ate, on repeat. It was a perfect dream getaway.

Horseshoe — so cool and so different.

Do you see the outline of the bear? This is Antelope Canyon — my second time going there, and still magical and incredible.

I kind of blend in.

Ice coffee in front of the pool.

The pool was the most beautiful pool I have ever ever seen. And this house — mind blown.

The food was so healthy, light, fresh, and I didn’t have to be in charge of it!

I would love this spread for every lunch.

Beets! Apparently, beets are the best thing for athletes to eat these days (my friend is an athlete and the mother of serious athletes, so she told me a lot of this information).

The rock formations on a hike — beyond beautiful.

We made dream catchers — super fun and very frustrating — NOT so easy.

Architecture and landscape = art.

Sunrise from my room.

Nightime view.

I had the best three days and feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to attend. Loved every bit of it.
