The most recent decorative addition to our daughter’s room is this fun Indian tribal wall decor. It is colorful, bright, cheerful, and adds a different touch to the room.

Fun colors!

Rainbow decor for a rainbow loving girl.

Tassels, colors, tribal look.

Happy.
The wall hanging is hand made with embroidery, tassels, and crewel stitching. I love the idea of this between doorways and adding dimension to the room. Don’t you love it, too?

This photo was from the design stages 1.5 years ago, when we picked out the wallpaper (top left), the curtain fabric (top right floral) and the rug (bottom yellow). I knew I wanted something floral, soft, and boho-chic (but of course).

So this was what looked good in our mind, too! On etsy, what a steal!

Then, I started to see it all over, including ABC Carpet & Home (but triple the price).
Although my initial thought was to do the door hanging, we ended up going with the flag and tassles to complete the book shelf look. I love the little touch and how it completes the room!

The room.

The bed.
You can take the girl out of Eugene, but you can’t take the hippy out of her! Hope you are having a great July week — hooray for summer.
I’m so jealous of your daughter’s room and I’m 24. The décor is just lovely and the toys bring the whole room to life. I wish I could still have so many without being judged.
