Beauty Buys March 2016

Beauty Buys! I love beauty products…there is something about the small packaging, the smells, and most importantly the way it makes me look and feel. One simple product can change everything! So here are the top 5 beauty products I am currently loving!

1. Amanda Lacey Camellia Oil

I have been a big fan of Amanda Lacey products since a good friend introduced me to them. They use the highest quality ingredients, smell divine, and feel delicious on the skin. Win win win. For my birthday this year, the same good friend gave me this oil. AND HEAVENS, I am in love with it. It not only smells like a magical batch of flowers, but it feels so great (not greasy) on my skin.

The moment you open the bottle, a whiff of rose and chamomille fills the air. HEAVEN.

This oil is to be used at night -- as it exfoliates your skin slightly. It looks oily, but isn't and feels so wonderful on the skin and leaves it baby-butt-smooth in the morning.

2. Surratt Smokey Eyeliner

A big fan of the Cat-eye Surratt eyeliner, I was happy to discover the smokey eyeliner, which happens to also be a twofer (double-sided eyeliner and eyeshadow). It comes in three colors and makes it super simple to make a smokey eye, as it has a creamy liner with matching satiny eyeshadow. You simply draw a line on your lid, and then smear with the eyeshadow baton, blending it in and making the eye look smokey and seductive.

Can't go wrong with this tool -- even for someone who is not good at makeup, it is easy to put together, blend, and look nice!

3. Bare Skin Minerals Serum Concealer

As a tired mother (who looks more and more haggard, worn out, and old these days), I am constantly looking for a concealer for my undereye circles. I read about this serum concealer built in one, and I couldn’t be happier. It feels moisturizing for the skin, is silky smooth, and completely covers my dark circles.

And it is 2/3 the cost of designer make up brands, and has better reviews.

4. R + Co. Dry Shampoo Paste

It doesn’t help that I always look tired and never want to take a shower! Well, I do shower daily, but I hate to get my hair wet! So finding a dry shampoo that works is like finding a treasure chest at the bottom of a rainbow! JACKPOT! I love this dry shampoo paste; one part dry shampoo, one part styling paste and 100% badass. It absorbs the oil while adding texture and style.

5. Natural Bubble Bath

Every time my mother sends a gift package to us, she sends us these bubble path packages (yes, I am spoiled). My kids love getting them and using them in the bath. It also makes a difference that they are made with wholesome ingredients and no chemicals.

The kids love these bubble packets and they are made with essential oils and organic ingredients. They also make great gifts!
