Not snow, not rain, not freezing rain, not 8 inch deep puddles of slush could keep people away from attending the Josie Natori RTW Fall 2014 show! Despite being smack dab in the middle of a snow storm (thank you, Mother Nature), the show went on. And what a great success it was! Such luxurious glamour, warmth, attitude, and chicness. I can’t wait to get a hand on these items! Congratulations, MIL! Here are some photos from the show.
UPDATE: Mom made the cover of WWD! Unbelievable. Click here to see the review and see the COVER below!:

Invitation. (Hi Babushka)
The collection for Fall/Winter 2014 was based on a new perspective on the romantic idea of Russia, with the transcendence of timeless folkloric themes into a modern identity. Signature Natori elements, such as highly textural fabrics, tonal separates, and rich embellishments dominated the looks.

The big, beautiful, open space. PERFECT location.

My view. Apparently, I am not a VIP at the Natori fashion show (1st world problems), and so I was seated in the back. But I did get to stare at a beautiful BOLD babe with Blue hair.

My stylish and ever so lovely friend, Karyn.

Husband Ken beforehand chatting with friend, Jane. It was that type of day in NYC — FUR hat prime time!

The scene. And yes, ladies, that is the ever-so-famous (and ever-so-beautiful) Linda Fargo and her perfectly silver, perfectly coiffed bob.

First walk.

The back.

Intricate cut outs.
Quote from mom: “The traditional forms and ornate embellishments found in Russia’s rich culture were particularly influential to me this season. I love to reinterpret ancient motifs for the modern woman and share with her my love of everyday opulence.”

Snood! One of my favorite pieces and overall ensembles!

Beautiful V-neck dress.
