This past weekend, I went to a super fun Bat Mitzvah and one of the highlights was a duo that wrote first impressions about the guests. Yes, sounds totally weird, but it was incredible. This duo, The Bumbys, sit and look at you, but cannot talk or listen to you. Then, they type up their thoughts based on their examination of you.
The Bumby’s — noise canceling headphones, cannot talk, and just look at you, and then write on their typewriter.
This is what they wrote about me. I LOVED it. Some of it is true, and other parts very not true (like my meditation practice, ha!)
This was my outfit that they were basing my first impression off of — a little more hippie hippie than the rest of the crowd.
Me and my daughter’s bestie. Toosh wasn’t able to come in the end because she was sick (poor girl), but I was able to track down said bestie to get a photo of her.
It was held at Cipriani on 42nd Street — a grand space for a grand event. Loved every minute.
The kids had half the room with so many activities and fun things to do.
