Salted Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

The other day when shopping at a bakery, I bought the most delicious sesame tahini chocolate chip cookie. And so of course, I became obsessed with finding best recipe to recreate my own version of this deliciousness. Sure enough, the NYTimes had the best reviews — and aw man, are they beyond! Run to get the ingredients and make these stat! I just ate TWO in half a second.

Ingredients:

* 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature

* 1 cup granulated sugar

* 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

* 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

* 1 teaspoon kosher salt

* 2 cups chocolate chips

* Flaky salt

Directions:

Add the chips.

NUTTY AND EVER SO DELICIOUS.

Put in fridge for 12 hours! (and yes my fridge is full of randomness, per usual)

When ready to bake, set the oven at 325 degrees and place the cookies 3 inches apart. Bake for 13-16 minutes.

And then sprinkle them with maldon salt.

PERFECTION.

So good, nutty, decadent, flaky, and oh so perfect.
