Fall Beauty Buys

The chaos of back-to-school, back-to-NYC, and the change of seasons always motivates me to clean and organize my house. I purge all that I don’t need (in a mad frenzy), and then feel the ‘need’ to restock my empty shelves with new and improved beauty products. So here are my current Fall Beauty Buys! I love them all!

Fall! Crispness!

1. Maison Louis Marie Candle

Candles are EXPENSIVE these days! GEEZ LOUISE, way too much $$. So these candles are the perfect solution — soothing, chic, beautiful, simple, at a much more reasonable price. And they smell great, too.

The candles are carried all over the country. But you can also order online. They make the best present (to yourself!).

Circle (of life). And did I mention that these candles smell just as good as the more expensive ones, but at half the cost? Love a good deal!

2. Joanna Vargas Rejuvenating Serum

A present from a dear friend, this serum is luxurious, rich, and divine. I use it as a serum or as a moisturizer at night or in the morning. Made with Argan oil, it quickly absorbs into the skin, and effectively moisturizes and soothes. HEAVEN!

Gold; this serum is MONEY!

The smell is very floral and soothing, and also decreases wrinkles and dryness.

Hallelujah!

3. Amanda Lacey Oils of Provence

This is THE oil. A very fragrant scent with a blend of Lavender, Sage, Armoise, Eucalyptus and Bois de Rose makes this oil extremely relaxing. You feel like you are at a spa in the forest.

4. Tangle Teezer

OK, not as sophisticated and elegant as the other products, but just as influential and essential to my Fall Beauty routine. This brush is a must. Goodbye, Mason Pearson (or just for now…) and HELLLOOOOO Tangle Teezer!

Bristles — somehow this big piece of plastic makes all the tangles and knots disappear without a single tear. Not sure how it works, but hey, I will take it!
