Currently Loving May 2018

Memorial Day is right around the corner, but it still feels like unpredictable-March-like weather in NYC. I am having a hard time remembering what month we are in because the weather truly makes it feel like early Spring and not LATE Spring. But here we are. Sitting. Waiting. So here is what I am currently loving this month! Take a look:

1. Chanel Healthy Glow Lip Balm

Chanel + Moisture + Color = Perfection

I am a sucker for any beauty product created by Chanel. Somehow the black packaging, the timeless Chanel symbol, and the quality of the product itself makes me love the Chanel Beauty line. This summer, they introduced a new lip balm with color, and I DIE, it is so great. It goes on like lip balm, feels like lip balm, but gives your lips just a little shimmer of color. Truly perfect — and trust me — I am goldilocks with any lip color.

2. Juice Press Cacao and Hazelnut Bar

YUP, this little nugget of chocolate cost me $5, but somehow it is worth it.

There is a Juice Press one block away from my apartment and another Juice Press across the street from my daughter’s school. As a result, I find myself always in one looking and admiring all the offerings. I also love their assortment of food and juices, so when I saw this little bar, I knew I had to buy it. It did not disappoint. Yes, expensive. Yes, tiny. But oh so good.

3. Natori Bliss Perfection Triangle Day Bra

Bliss bra = Bliss

I am a creature of habit and have only worn the Natori Feathers Bra since it first came out. But recently, I decided to branch out and try other (of course, Natori) bras. So I bought this one, and MAN OH MAN, do I love it. It is so beautiful, comfortable, and pretty. PLUS IT IS ON SALE FOR $24 right now — that is Victoria’s Secret type of pricing. Go get it!

4. Loeffler Randall Tote

Rainbow + Straw = Summer Dreams

I have not bought a bag in a long time — they seem to cost a lot of money and I get fickle with them quickly. But this Loeffler Randall bag is the exception — it is not prissy, in your face, or trendy. It is simply a rainbow straw bag. And to me, that is utter perfection.

5. Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum

Following the trend.

In the past year, everywhere I turned, I saw something about Vintner’s Daughter and how amazing the serum was. But at $185 per bottle, it seemed overly expensive and over hyped. But after the millionth time I saw something about it, I decided to cave in to peer pressure and purchase it. In the past month, I can’t say that I have noticed anything different about my skin, but I do love the smell, the feel, and the moisture it gives. So, I guess it does live up to its expectations.

6. Beauty Counter Brightening Facial Mist

Mist mist mist

I am a sucker for anything that you can spray on your face and feel refreshed and revived.  And this spray does exactly that. It revitalizes, refreshes, and feels oh so good for the skin.

So there you have it. Mid May loves. Now your turn — do tell me what you are loving these days! Spread the love!
