Oregon Coast 2016

This past weekend, the kids, parents and I went to the Oregon Coast to escape the hot temperatures of Eugene (in the 100s) and surround ourselves in the beauty of the Oregon Coast. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed nature, and family (minus Ken, who was in New York). Take a look at the pictures.

The Oregon Coast is always much colder than inland .... which makes sense, but this past weekend it was 30 degrees colder. 30!!!!

Uh yeah, the best we could do.

Of course, we had to learn about insect heating plans and see nature on a small hike! Wouldn't be a trip with the Proskurowskis without some educational lookout and a hike.

Our kite was from last year -- Ninja Turtle Plastic Kite -- and cost 2.50 dollars....and let me tell you, IT ROCKED.

Thank you to my parents for taking us on a little get-away, but more importantly, loving us unconditionally and being a huge part of our life. We love you so much.
