Last Friday, my sister Courtney and I hosted a Bridal Luncheon to celebrate our baby sister, Galen, and her upcoming wedding. The lunch took place at Olympia Provisions in Portland. Located in a hip / up and coming industrial area of Northwest Portland, the restaurant (which also is known for its meat sold nation wide) was the perfect venue. The lunch was super special with a great group of girls, delicious food, bubbling sparkling wine, and a glowing bride-to-be.
Truly, a la Portlandia; garage, brick, burlap, and meat.
One big ‘ol table.
We were in a private room with the open kitchen.
Pink and blush, in an ever-so-Portland-mason-jar-vase-moment. The flower company, Sammy’s Flowers, was delightful to work with and super responsive. And the flowers were gorge!
Little candies from Portland candy company, Quin.
Sparkly pink seat assignments.

The look.
My mom, Maxine, and guest of honor, sister Galen.
Here is a token shot of me and Galen. Sadly, no photos of me are great. Galen, on the other hand, looks great in all of them.
The two sisters, Courtney and Galen.
Courtney gets an MVP award for flying across the country from New Jersey to attend the luncheon. To make matters worse, she had flight issues and slept in the Denver airport on the floor, and arrived the morning of the lunch with no bags (don’t ask why she checked her bag for a weekend trip….). Also, take a look at the beautiful blush dress behind Court on Galen’s friend, Ivy. I love her look.
MEAT. Good thing that I wrote an email to everyone two days before asking if anyone was a vegetarian….luckily, we all eat meat. #NovicePartyPlanner
Gold shoes with salami and mustard.
Salad.
Spicy fried chicken sandwich. DELICIOUS.
House made meat sandwich.
An appropriate sculpture for a meat restaurant.
Before the dessert course, I asked that everyone around the table say how they knew Galen and tell a story about her. It was super cheesy while at the same time meaningful, special, and memorable.

A truly special celebration in honor of my baby sister Galen! Looking forward to the September Portlandia wedding and toasting two people I love.
Auntie Galen- Very excited for September! See you guys soon.
The best looking meat spread ever! So delicious, and the party looked so cute!
Love the venue and the food looks delicious. Making me hungry now! Congrats to your little sister on her upcoming wedding 🙂
Congrats Galen! Food looks so good.
