Four years ago, I posted (yep, been writing this blog for over 4 years …. no major breakout new blogger award, but happy to still be posting, promoting Natori, and contributing to the world wide web) the recipe for Raw Brownies. Since many of you readers have not been reading since Day 1 (thank you to my parents and college girlfriends), I decided it was time to share this wonder of a recipe again! 4 ingredients, no refined sugar, super delicious, easy to make, no baking, holy ka-bomb done done done.
Ingredients:
* 2 cup walnuts
* 2 1/2 cups pitted and chopped dates
* 1 cup raw cocoa
* 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
Directions:
I am on a roll with making these little bits of heaven — every weekend, I “bake.” My kids love them, my husband loves them, and I love them! I hope you find the time to make them — then let me know what you think. Have a great weekend!
Holy ka-bomb is right. I’m excited to try these!!

Wow, these look great and so quick to make. I’ve already bookmarked the page to make these next week 😀
These look great..not a big dates fan..wondering if:
1) are they used only for texture and if so can you taste them?
2) can something else be substituted in place of them?
