Spiralizer

I shelled out the big dough and bought another kitchen gadget; and I couldn’t be happier. YUP, a spiralizer. What is a spiralizer (good question, kinda sounds like a pencil sharpener)? It is a device that transforms vegetables into “angel-hair” strands as well as spiral cuts, shoestrings and ribbon “noodles” — amazing, right?

Sounds like a corny tool sold on late night TV, but trust me, it will transform your life. You can use it on zucchini, carrots, potatoes, apples, and cucumbers and so many more! Why do you need it? To add some spice, color, and variety to your salads and pasta dishes, as well as create new recipes with veggies as the main ingredient.

Am I a good salesperson? Are you going to buy it? It seems like just another thing to add to your kitchen shelves, but I promise you that you will use it. And for those of you already in the know, what are your go-to uses of your veggie ribbons? Have a great weekend!

  1. This does seem like something you would see being sold on late night TV… but one that I want!
