Herbivore Botanical Salts

Happy Monday!  A little housekeeping work.  For those of you who get the blog by email, we have moved to a new (better) service (Mailchimp).  Just a heads up to look for a slightly different email going forward.   And if that sounds like an awesome idea and you want to sign up, click here.  On to today’s post!

Set of three!

Set of three! Detox, Renew, and Calm.

Two weeks ago when I returned from the Paris Marathon, I was greeted by a box from my bestie. And what was inside? BATH SALTS! I know it sounds somewhat bland and unexciting, but to me, it was like finding a treasure chest of gold. Nothing screamed HAPPINESS and THANK GOODNESS louder than these bath salts. Relaxing in a tub is heavenly, especially with scented, medicinal salts, PARTICULARLY when I had just run a marathon and had sore muscles (I mean, bath salts are good all the time, but post marathon, it was pure bliss).

Calm

Calm. Soothing and smooth, the bath salts have floral ylang ylang and natural vanilla to relax the mind and body.

Herbivore Botanicals, founded in Seattle in 2011, is a 100% natural skin care and beauty company. Everything they make is created with 100% natural and vegan ingredients. These bath salts are made of the highest quality sea salts from the Dead Sea. The salts infuse the water with minerals that the body absorbs.

Renew

Renew. Aromatic, including bergamot + vanilla and dead sea salts.

Detox

Detox. A blend of lavender and eucalpytus. Smells unbelievable and wakes up your soul and spirit.

I love their simple and clear packaging. It looks like a vase with flowers -- beautiful on its own.

To use, dump 1/4 of the bottle into the bath and just SOAK. The bottles hold enough salts for 4-6 baths.

To purchase, find their stockists here. Or purchase on their online store here. Now, gotta go SOAK! My hip still hurts so I am seeing Dr. Jordan Metzl next week!

  1. It’s amazing how much good bath salts can help, but they really make a difference. Looks great.

  2. Thank you for this suggestion! I just hate putting any harsh chemicals on my skin, this was very much appreciated…

  3. This company also makes a clay mask that is to die for!! Have you tried?? Love using my bath salts and clay mask and then slipping into my cute and comfy Josie pj’s. 🙂
