Hello friends! I am so happy to write about Mah Ze Dahr [1] once again! This past winter, the amazing online bakery founded by former Goldman Sachs executive Umber Ahmad [2] was written up [3] in the NY Times as having the best doughnuts in the city. As a loyal fan, I couldn’t wait to taste the doughnuts, so I went online to buy. And yet, instead of following my plan, I indulged in half a dozen of the Nutella [4] Hand Pies. AND OH MY, they are amazing. True perfection. The New York Times needs to review THEM!

Bundle of deliciousness
For those of you who remember, I interviewed Umber [5] in June 2013. She is one of the sweetest, most beautiful, smart, and talented people I have ever met. And it makes sense that these little nutella hand bars are perfection, considering that she is the force behind them.

Mah Ze Dahr.
These toaster pastries are buttery and flaky, filled with a choice of nutella, bananas, or seasonal fruit preserves.

The box contains six individually wrapped pies.

Makes them last longer.

Not too small, not too big

Breakfast for a lucky duck (we don’t always eat healthy in the Natori household).

Trying to fit the whole pie in one bite.
