#NatoriNights

Everyone is doing it, so just do it, too! (peer pressure!) The Natori Company is launching a social media effort called #NatoriNights. And it is exactly what you think, a display of one’s nighttime routine (hopefully in Natori pajamas!) So, you too should post (via instagram / facebook / twitter / blog / whatever) your #NatoriNights. Here is my (super glamorous) nighttime routine. I want to hear how you all wind down each night, and celebrate the end of your day. Do share.

Night with Natori! The best type of nights. Night with Natori! The best type of nights. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

How do I wind down for the night?

After brushing my teeth and washing my face (a must!), I (fall face down) on the bed and have enough time to read (a paragraph or two), and watch TV (or more accurately, Ken watches TV and I constantly tell him to turn it down), before I pass out like I have never slept before. Of course, there are some nights when I am an anxious mess and I toss and turn.  On those nights, I constantly poke Ken to make sure he doesn’t beat me to sleep, and say things like:  “what happens if I don’t fall asleep” and “Babers, babers, wake up. Are you asleep?” Not very chic, elegant, restful, exciting (or considerate). But that’s my routine!

What’s your favorite piece to wear to bed?

My essentials!

My essentials!

HANDS DOWN, the Natori Cotton Sateen Sleepshirt. No surprise, I am super sensitive as to what I wear to bed. I am very picky. It has to be cotton. It can’t be pants. It can’t be a long nightgown. It can’t be sleeveless. So there you have it, the sleepshirt fits all my requirements. I LOVE it. Best nightgown / night shirt / pajama ever.

Do you have a routine before you turn off the lights?

Book + remote + nightguard + Babers = happy sleep. "Heart of the Soul" type of sleep.

My sweet husband gets our mouth pieces (we both grind our teeth = #sexy), then I make sure my phone is turned silent, turn my UP to sleep mode, I kiss and spoon the-love-of-my-life and fall fast asleep. Or fret that I will not sleep. Same thing.

  1. My husband and I fight about the TV too. I hate it but it’s a must for him. Glad we share something in common!

  2. I got a giggle from Mrs. Natori when I told her I wear the cotton sateen p.j.’s!
In my heart I wear all the gorgeous satin and silk, but I’m a cotton gal too! 🙂
