AeroPress Coffee

Spending the last few weeks with my parents has reintroduced me to some of their daily routines… such as my father’s coffee brewing.  My father is snobby about his coffee (just like I am with granola, grocery stores, gym clothes, and many many other things).  He now swears by the AeroPress, which he likes even more than the French press. And after comparing them all, I totally agree… I am now a converted AeroPress user! Using an AeroPress is a fast, easy and convenient way to brew excellent coffee. For whatever reason, the pressure heightens the sweetness and body in each cup. It tastes like a barista made it themselves.

The Aeropress. Not bulky. Just a little itty bitty goodness of love.

All tools.

All the tools needed to make AeroPress coffee: a grinder, the aeropress, the filters, the scoop, the mixer, and hot water. BOOM.

Secure top.

The top just goes on top of the coffee cup. You literally make the coffee IN the cup!

Scoop ground coffee

Scoop ground coffee (two scoops) into the gadget.

Put it on top of cup

Put it on top of the cup.

Pour water.

Pour water.

Mix for 10 seconds.

Put air press

And then press the air which makes the coffee go into your cup!

Push and push and push!

AAAHHHHHH……best coffee ever!!!

The AeroPress’s gentle pressure produces coffee with a rich, full taste. No bitterness, not too light… just perfect (because of the lower temperature and short brew time, the acid level of the brew is much lower than conventional brewers). So if you are a coffee snob like me or my dad, check out aeropress! Less than 30 dollars total (cheapest coffee maker out there!) or get it as a gift for a coffee-loving friend.  Have a great week!

    • A mish mash of places! I look like a teenager with them on…but I cant seem to part with any of them.

  1. I like the Aeropress but I also like the normal coffee maker if I plan on having multiple cups. Love your blog!

  2. I have to admit that I got the aeropress (both the bug and the coffee maker) from JG’s brother (unexpected ROI of having kids 🙂 Giora’s favorite Wandering Goat bean is Cafe Feminino. I also like the Abissynia.
