Etsy Holiday Shop

I love Etsy.  And I love pop-up shops.  So while I was on a three hour day-date with my better half last weekend in SoHo (best three hours EVER), I couldn’t have been more excited to stumble across the ETSY HOLIDAY SHOP!

the sign

The sign outside of the store. This is what immediately got my attention.

For those of you unfamiliar with Etsy, it is a website that allows local artisans and merchants to sell handmade or vintage items to a broad community.  It is a great one-stop shop for anything homemade, and it is a terrific place to find unique gifts.  The holiday store does a great job of bringing that web concept to brick-and-mortar.  As described on the site, “Imagine a magical place where you can shop directly from the collections of guest curators, meet the artists and collectors of the marketplace in person, learn to make something with your own two hands, and enlist the help of a whole squad of Etsy experts for your gift list. It’s Etsy in real life!” So true, and so magical.  But unfortunately, the shop is closing this Saturday (December 8th)…. so go now!

131 Greene Street.

I mean, honestly, this shop is HEAVENLY! And even if you don’t buy anything, you leave inspired by homemade goods and want to search and search on etsy.com  for hours on end because everything is just so awesome. and homemade. and special. and fun. and different.

esty store front

Even the store front is hip, oh-so-cool, and refreshing.

running

So, what did I do when I saw the sign? I RAN! In my backpack! I just couldn’t stop myself from the excitement.

Everything about this place is wholesome and right.

inside

Inside, there were different sections with “shops” to shop from, and then there were areas for people to create projects with the guidance of experts. Unbelievable, wholesome fun.

board

A wall with so many fun things to look at, get inspired from, and buy.

teepee

Guess who is getting this exact teepee for Christmakah? I am so excited!

The cutest toddler outfit. If Cruzzie weren’t the most particular and picky dresser (and eater), I would have bought this for him. Too cute.

different booths

Different booths in the shop. How I wish I could be more creative and artsy….look at how cool these artists look?

schedule

Here is the schedule for today and tomorrow. Amazing. RUN THERE NOW! You have 30 hours left!!!

IF you don’t live in NYC, definitely check out their website. For more information, go here. Have a great weekend!
