I discovered that it is the little things that make a big difference in my life. So when my mom gave me reusable silicone bags for Hannukah, I was thrilled. These fun, colorful, ever so practical, and healthy alternative to plastic food storage bags are a great addition to my kitchen. Not only do I feel like I am helping the environment (even in a very small way) but they are an extra pop of color in my day that makes me smile. Stasher bags come in all different sizes and colors and can be used for more than just food!
Functional, reusable, colorful!
Like most Oregonians, my parents are constantly (and thankfully) looking for ways to create less garbage and be more environmentally conscious. In their attempt to eliminate saran wrap and aluminum foil, they use reusable bowl covers. It is a simple switch that reduces waste and takes little effort. Plus, the various patterned tops make your fridge look hip! I ordered some for NYC and can’t wait to use them.
How cool? And cute? And practical?
Greetings from Paris! More to come after I recover, but I ran the Paris Marathon again yesterday – as beautiful and rewarding as ever. Excited to share pics and the experience (different than the past ones here, here and here) later this week. But for now….
One of my absolute favorite recent presents is a clutch / carry-everything-holder from Minor History. It literally holds everything and is the perfect size, color, and leather texture. A perfect small bag!
Flat like an envelope.
For sizing purposes, here it is in comparison to my hand.
You can also fold it over and use it as a clutch.
It holds cosmetics, other little carry holders, glasses, everything and anything.
This roomy zipper clutch is the perfect addition to my bag wardrobe. And it is also a great gift! Au revoir..
