Although it is still somewhat cold in NYC, it is actually Spring. So, although I am not training for a marathon anymore, I still need music to keep me active and energized at the gym or on runs!

Until recently, my music listening set-up in our apartment was less than ideal. We have Sonos set up, but for whatever reason, we rarely use it, and when we do it is to listen to NPR. So like a college student, I basically only listened to music on my iPod and through computer speakers. But no longer, now that I have JAMBOX! Not fancy enough to have a built-in speaker system, but too old to not have speakers, I have found the perfect middle ground, with this tiny, amazing, innovative, and hip speaker system (thanks for the gift, brother and sister in law!)
Jambox comes in two different sizes; big and little. Both use the same wireless technology and have a deep, rich sound!
It is like a modern day ghetto-blaster! WHAT UP!
Even the packaging is ultra-chic, modern, and fresh.
Summer is over, so it is now FALL which means it really is time to WORKOUT and get in shape!! So here is my Fall Workout playlist! If you have any favorites not listed below, let me in on your secret songs! Need some additions to motivate my tush into gear!

Okay, so I know I am a total dork, but this is seriously one of my running outfits. Hot pink shoes, an Olympics tee, and Josie Natori for Target snake skin leggings. I bet you think I look like I could outrun Usain Bolt dressed like this.

Music is key for my daily workout. I need to be inspired to run/push/pedal/row faster. And nothing motivates me more than a good tune or jam. Once a month, I log on to itunes, go to “Top Singles” and press away….ending up spending too much money on too many songs to create a new playlist. But let me tell you, it is worth every $1.29 per song….hours of fun for me. And then the music and the beats soak into my bones and free my muscles and joints to work harder. I swear.
(Orange) Ipod. Absolutely, positively essential to my workout.

I pronate when I run/workout, so I only wear asics for running shoes. I rotate between pairs too -- one white and green, one black and turquoise. Do these black sneakers make me more hip? (doubt it).
