Spring Break 2019 Part 1

Spring Breeeeeakkkkkkkk! After a long and grueling cold winter in New York City, nothing feels as good as warm weather, sunshine, and the beach. For the first week of our break, we went to Imanta in Punta de Mita, Mexico with my in-laws. It was rustic AND luxurious, eco friendly, secluded, beyond beautiful, and very relaxing. Take a look at the pictures, enjoy the sharing overload!

The kids are at a great age where they can play in the pool alone and not be supervised at all times…..The kids loved to go skinny dipping in the pool (good old Hippy Roots!)

Why is vacation so tiring?

Punta de Mita is on the west coast of Mexico, which meant unbelievable sunsets every night. There is something so magical and soothing about watching the sunset. #Cheesey

My two favorite little booties with an incredible view, too.

One of the great qualities of this hotel was that there was NO one there. Very remote and secluded, we often times had the beach all to ourselves.

We also went on some glorious hikes; on the beach cliffs, through the rain forests, etc!

Shameless selfie.

Boogie boarding was SO much fun. Ken and the kids were pros at it — me, not so much. But they had so much fun for an extended period of time running in and out of the water with the boards.

Picture with my in-laws! So special to be able to spend a three-generation vacation with them.

There was a resort hike every day, and on one of them, we met Catherine Keener! She was the most wonderful, down-to-earth, and engaging hike companion. We had an amazing time with her.

I love the filter HUJI — it does these weird retro 90s color flares to it (like the old camera film FUJI) I love this photo, too.

Blues upon blues upon blues.

Mesmerized by the beauty….

And who doesn’t love Mexican food? By far my favorite type of cuisine…..and hot sauces galore, love love love

Nachos are hands down my favorite food, and so crab nachos was a must eat for lunch.

Fashionista in the sand.

We had a great vacation and loved every minute! Nothing beats Mexico….
