Currently Loving December 2018

Last month of 2018 — a mad rush to the end of the year! Here is what I am currently loving.

1. Meru — the movie

Believe in the impossible.

Yes, it has been out for a long time, and I am the last one to jump on the Jimmy Chin bandwagon, but now I am a huge fan, and I cannot believe I haven’t yet seen his newest movie, Free Solo. For those of you who have not seen Meru — I HIGHLY suggest it. It was an incredible and powerful movie — one that we watched with our 9 year old. Here are two (one and two) interesting articles to read about Jimmy Chin and his films.

2. Beeswax Candle Kits

The colors, the smell!

As a little girl, I  made beeswax candles during the holidays as gifts (such a Eugene / West Coast thing to do). So this year, I decided to do this project at home with the kids. I loved everything about it — the smell of the beeswax and the fact that they have presents to give without having to spend money!

3. Count on — Shallou

All the songs by Shallou are great. And tug at my heart while making me happy at the same time.

One of my favorite bands to listen to when I am at home working. This song is their latest and I just love it oh so much. I can play it on repeat all day long and it makes me so happy.

4. Natori Ginza Embroidery PJ

Red, gold, happy.

This pajama set is on my wish list and I can’t wait to get them! I love everything about it — the shorts for the bottom, the long sleeves for the top, the embroidery, the gold, the color. The perfect set of pajamas to welcome in the New Year!

5. Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning

It is literally an everything bagel, minus the bagel. Who doesn’t love sea salt, garlic, and onion??!!?!?

This seasoning is AMAZING and if you have not heard about it or tried it, go get it now. It makes everything better. And read this article to find out five different recipes to make with it.

There you have it! The five things I am currently loving in December.  Have a good weekend!
