Firenze 2018

I just returned from an incredible four day trip to Florence (Firenze), Italy with a big group of girlfriends. As you can imagine, there was never a dull moment with lots of food, wine, no sleep, and lots of activity. The trip was incredibly planned and I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to this beautiful city.

We stayed at the most beautiful place. This is the view from one of the apartment’s kitchens. DUOMO. Stunning.

We spent all night walking around and just getting lost (for me) in the tiny narrow streets.

The river.

The duomo was absolutely spectacular.

Everything about the city blew me away — the history, the buildings, the light.

One afternoon, we had the privilege of meeting an Italian photographer, Massimo Listri, and having a private viewing of his home and studio. It was absolutely incredible and we will always remember the visit with him.

The view on our roofdeck. I was the super annoying instagram poster on our stay because I posted a bzillion pictures from the rooftop — but literally every minute up there was breathtaking — morning, afternoon, evening — all were incredible.

Buying wine. Which we did a lot of.

Setting up our dance party.

It blew me away to think about how old the city is. America is so young.

One day, we spent 3 hours with a private walking tour guide who took us around the city and to the museums. Susanna, the young tour guide, was INCREDIBLE.  I learned so much — now I want a tour guide like her in NYC to take me around the museums.  #Nerd

One day, we went to a vineyard and had a private tour of the facility and then a wine tasting. Under the Tuscan Clouds.

For some reason, these fried dough balls might have been my favorite thing I ate…..

Group shot. Look at all the babes. And my leg pose. GIDDYUP.

How could I not post another shot from our roof?

Here we go again….but the sunset was HOLY CRAP CRAZY BEAUTIFUL.

Girls Night Out. #GNO

The ceiling from our last dinner. Not too shabby.

It was like a wedding. But we were the only ones.

There were lots of shots of the girls.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. What an unforgettable Firenze Trip…….so much fun.

  2. How cool… this looks like the ultimate girls trip! I’m actually planning to visit for the first time in September. I’d love to experience a dinner like the one you had. Everything looks absolutely beautiful!
