Sonoma 2016

Just returned heavier and happier from another great California trip with the family.  We started the week in Yosemite and ended in beautiful Sonoma.  Invited by close friends from Stanford, we spent last weekend with several other families to enjoy nature and beauty in wine country, on a ridiculously beautiful ranch filled with plums, pears, apples, peaches, berries, vegetables, bees, hiking, pool, tennis, and MORE. Every step I took, I was reminded of the movie Parent Trap (top 5 movies for me, and yes, the one with Lindsay Lohan). To take a look at our California Dreaming, see below.

picnic

ATV picnic. I love how California can be so high class and cowboy at the same time.

sky

The road on the property. But check out the sky. THE SKY, holy shmoly.

Fruit galore. Not like your bodega on the corner in NYC.

I like how Cruzzie is using the back of the ATV to sit and eat his lunch. Sunshine, fresh produce, friends, West Coast, fresh air, and nature.

Who says that you can’t go to a Winery with kids and animals? Not ours, but we wish it was… we fell in love with  #TimRiggins.

Ashley and her brand

Ashley and her brand new puppy, Tim Riggins. Riggins won all our hearts, but in particular, little Toosh’s.  She followed him around wherever he went….including when he napped under the table.

Toosh and #TimRiggins. Told you!

Toosh and #TimRiggins. Told you!

Thank you so much, Kimmers (or as Cruzzie calls you “Kimsey”) for taking us in and spoiling us rotten! The property, town, and state are unbelievable. But even more so are friendships that last across the country for dozens of years.
