Wedding Weekend #Harrasic

Last weekend, Ken and I had the good fortune of attending an incredibly special wedding in Quogue (on Long Island in NY).  The ceremony, venue, atmosphere… everything… was perfect.  Enjoy the pictures… you’ll meet a number of people who have contributed great content to the blog over the years!

Lynn Rasic - the beautiful bride

The beautiful bride, Lynn Rasic, one of Ken’s good friends from growing up. She and her husband Mike are very dear to us, even though we just lost them to San Diego. #Jealous. Lynn used to be the head of external affairs for the 9/11 Memorial, which led to this post.

Cutest flower girls ever with the most amazing floral head crowns. I want to wear their whole outfit…and even carry around a bucket of rose petals to spread all over.

Lynn and her father. One of my favorite moments of every wedding.

At every wedding, you meet awesome people. Kenny Lao (he of dumpling fame) was hysterical (and not just because I am married to another Asian Ken). While we had exchanged emails before for the blog posts, this weekend was the first time we met in person. We were all dying laughing the whole time. Can’t wait to hang out with him and his husband John in the future!

  1. Congrats to yr friend Lynn -brave having a beach wedding so early in the season! Ironic you & Kenny had never met – thanks to you brought his book, love his dumplings…he’s the bomb!
Me & my boo made a double batch of pork & shrimp -couldn’t be easier …(brought round wrappers) froze flat, and batched into separate bundles easy to pull out for quick snack when doing the netflix & chill thing on the sofa!
