Diamond Ear Cuff

As a kindergarten graduation present to myself (yessir, my son graduates kindergarten, and I am the one that gets the present #logic), I bought myself a diamond ear cuff. Now that everyone is back to wearing multiple pierces (a la 1990s), I wanted to go back to my 16 year old self with five ear holes (#truth) and a piercing in my ear lobe. Thing is, I didn’t want to re-pierce them myself, or actually go to a tattoo-piercing-store again (Did that, done that), so instead I went the cuff route. And I am giddy with excitement.  It is not just any cuff… it is a high-class, super-fancy, DIAMOND cuff. Check it out, egad, I am in love.

Bat-a-bing! Ca-ching.

Bat-a-bing! Ca-ching. (And yes, I feel slightly overexposed with the close-ups of my neck hairs, ear fuzz, and freckles. Don’t mind the zoom on the camera).

I had the cuff made at a jewelers so was able to make it exactly how I wanted. Yellow gold, white diamonds, exact sizing. So many options.

I explained to Ken that, no, I didn't get my ear pierced again (I had it pierced there when I met him 13 years ago), but that it was a removable earring.

The time that I did get my ear pierced in that location, I was at a tattoo shop, ended up fainting, and woke up to a big burly dude standing over me asking me if I was okay. I am now deathly afraid of getting my ears pierced. I was in so much pain from the piercing that I fainted #StrongLikeOx

Teeney tiny, actually.

Teeney tiny, actually. Oh so cute.

Different angle.

Different angle. Same #oversharing ear hairs.

The look.

The look (with no make up, face washed, and the true face of an overtired and overworked mom….hence a present to myself)

The look again (with my head turned to other direction).

The look again (with my head turned to other direction….which apparently didn’t help my tired look).

No link I can share with you, but I am sure any local jeweler can replicate the above.  Fun, right?? I couldn’t be happier and plan on rocking this cuff for a long time. I am embracing this trend for as long as it is around.

  1. yaaaaassssss, lovin it!
Been re-thinking getting my ear game on, too
    – went somewhere, added a second lobe piercing on right ear then the top on cartilage…which piercer screwed up the trajectory -it was facing in, so only thing that could be seen was the earrings back rather than the earring itself -so i removed it…think diamond cuff might be the way to go!
    Lovin it gurl!
